It's been about four years that we've been trying to get you. Boy or Girl....you have been a work in progress! So this blog is here for you because we want you to know how hard we tried and how much of a miracle you are to us.
To give you an idea of what's coming up, we are headed to Denver Colorado on September 30th to meet with our second opinion for our next steps. Flashback to April 2019, your dad and I were given a doctor and clinic's name by some friends of ours. The clinic is called the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine {CCRM}. We really took some time to pray about staying in Omaha or trying somewhere else. We got all our medical records ordered from Women's Methodist and sent them off, we scheduled our introductory phone consultation with Dr. Schoolcraft (Umm...how fun is his last name!). We talked on the phone with Dr. Schoolcraft about our medical history up to that point (more to come on that) and he gave us the news that we were told years ago...that we were heading to IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization).
As I'm typing this I can't help but think...I may write this blog like a popular TV show your dad and I loved... "How I Met Your Mother." We just got done watching HIMYM for like the 6th time...so that's probably why this style is falling into place. Oh and not to worry, your father and I will absolutely make sure we introduce you to it...along with a slew of other great TV shows. Just ask your father...h'es Mr. Movie Guy!
It is my goal to write you all through the medical process and the everyday life process! If you're a boy...you may not be interested in any of this information, but most of all I want you to know how badly I want you. I should also mention there are a lot of people outside of just your dad and I who want you, too. You have an amazing extended family who's excited for you to join us. Our friends have just been outstanding through all this time. We can't wait to introduce you to them all!!
Baby G, you are so loved already you have no idea! We can't wait to meet you!!
Love,
Your Mom {<--YAY!!!}
